I’m Lucas — a psychology student, clinic operations specialist, and future dual-degreed provider. I’m passionate about mental health, patient advocacy, and building systems that make healthcare more accessible, efficient, and human.Professionally, I’ve worked across multiple psychiatric and integrative medical clinics, gaining expertise in EHR systems, patient flow, billing, insurance navigation, medication management, and clinical support. I’ve managed front-desk operations, supervised daily clinic systems, and handled prior authorizations, denied claims, and reimbursement corrections with precision.Personally, I’m someone who loves exploring the world. I’ve traveled to over a dozen countries, including Costa Rica, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, Mexico, Spain, Greece, France, Monaco, Malta, and Germany. Experiencing different cultures fuels my passion for global mental health equity, nonprofit work, and community service.After completing my degree at NAU, I plan to pursue both a PsyD and a PMHNP, with the goal of becoming a highly trained, independent mental-health provider and clinical director.My long-term ambition is to open a multidisciplinary behavioral-health clinic that integrates therapy, psychiatry, community programming, and nonprofit outreach to serve underserved populations.
